Where Did I Go?

Sorry for the absence. I had to send in my modem for the internet because it stopped working. Hopefully I will have it back next week.

Right now I am at the library.
I could come here to post but lately I've been preoccupied.
With what you ask?
Oh that'd be my $2,492 tuition bill from my school. thats only this semester too.
My school decided they needed to raise tuition to build a building that we don't need.
The most awesome part about this is that they can't raise my scholarships, grants, or loans.
So I'm maxed out. I've been busy trying to find ways to afford this.
To some this may seem like a small amount to some, but look at it this way..I barely made $1,500 this summer.

I finally got ahold of someone at the Financial Aid department today. She told me the only way I can get more money is if my mom applies for a Parent Plus Loan. Meaning the loan would be in her name.
If she gets denied I can then get an additional loan for $5,000.

So if anyone has an extra $5,000 lying around and wants to donate it to the Brie K. college fund...go right ahead. lol.
