My DIY Fail...kinda

Honeslty, I'm not really a crafty person. I pin a bunch of stuff on my pintrest saying I'm going to actually do them one day but I've never attempted one. Until today that is. Now it's not a total fail. It just didnt turn out quite the way I wanted it to.

The Braided T-Shirt

First get a tshirt. I wouldn't recommend using a regular tshirt. I would use a V-neck shirt instead.

Cut two inch slits all around the collar. Don't worry if these aren't perfect, you won't be able to see it at the end.

Then pull the second "loop" under the first loop. To create the rest of the shirt continue with the third loop, and so on.

 When you get to the end use a little bit of thread to sew the last loop to the shirt. You should also so up the first loop a little so that there isn't a big hole in the shirt.

And that's all there is. So maybe it wasn't a fail, but it didn't look like I would have prefered. I think it would be a lot better if I used a V neck shirt. Oh well, live and learn.
