Baby Post #2 of the Week

First off let me say, I had full intentions of linking up for the Copycat Outfit link-up. I had an outfit planned and everything. But I didn’t fall asleep until 3 last night and I had to be up at 8 to babysit so dressing up is not an option today. At least I’ll have my outfit planned for next week right?

Everyone seems to be having babies now. And I’m not talking about celebrities, or even bloggers. I’m talking about real people, more specifically, people I went to high school with.

For a public high school, very few girls in my class got pregnant. But now that we’re out of high school, it seems like everyone is having babies. Surprisingly enough, most of them aren’t accidents. Did I miss the memo? Is 20-21 now the new age to have kids? I really feel like everyone got together and took a pregnancy pack and didn’t tell me.

What happened to our college years? Isn’t this the time to be young and crazy?  During this time you learn so much about the world and even yourself. I don’t think I have much to teach a child about life if I had one right now. You want to teach your child to have a good life, but how can you do that if you haven’t even started living yet?

Honestly, there is a little part of me that is jealous of those people with babies. But there is a bigger part of me that knows this is not the right time for me. I have one more year old college and I'm not gonna mess that up.
