Not like oh I was so busy shopping and stuff.
But the Ken was in the hospital,

It has been a complete nightmare for my poor boy.
For the past two weeks Ken has been complaining about a pain in his stomach/groin area.
He went to the first doctor where they told him they had a bladder infection.
Its kinda unusual for a male to get one but we thought, "whatever, they're the doctor."
He went and filled the prescription.
I don't know if you've ever had a bladder infection but they usually start to feel better the day after you start taking the medication.
But Ken's didn't.
Finally after 3 days Ken calls them.
Wanna know what they tell him?
They tell him they got the test results back and he doesn't have a bladder infection.
They then tell him they don't even know what is wrong with him!
I have a few problems with this.
Problem #1: Why did it take three days for them to learn he didn't have a bladder infection? It takes my doctor all of 30 minutes to tell me I have one. So did they know he didn't have one or did they just assume?
Problem #2: Why did they prescribe him the medication if they weren't sure that was what he had? It goes back to #1. Did they know he didn't have one but didn't know what was wrong with him? Did they just prescribe the medication to get their money? Or does it really take that long to know if you have one? But even if it did, why would they give him the medicine!? Oh this is raising my blood pressure.
Problem #3: Why did Ken have to call them to learn he didn't in fact, have a bladder infection. Shouldn't they have told him so he could stop taking the medicine? What if he didn't call?
After that fiasco, Ken went to another doctor. This one told him it was clearly not a bladder infection but it was probably a pulled muscle in his abdomen. He said probably because the only way to know for sure is if he gets a CT scan. Since Ken doesn't have insurance getting a cat scan would cost a lot. Instead of the doctor telling him this he went as far as to tell him not to get one. Over stepping boundaries much?
Finally on Thursday (the next day) Ken decided that things just weren't right and went to the hospital. He had a CT scan and his appendix was inflamed. He had surgery at 3:30 Friday morning to remove it and everything went great. He is still in some pain but things are going well.
I love you baby! I hope you feel better soon. And now we have matching scares!
Has anyone else had these crazy stories with their appendix? Mine was so simple!
